I'm interested in doing your challenge. Will take the test on my next swim which will be Thurs. I have been swimming for 3 yrs. and I'm stuck. Not seeing much improvement anymore. When I 1st started (which I basically learned from scratch), I had a fx. ankle so had to swim with the pull buoy for 5 wks. I literally thought I would be an olympic swimmer when I got through because it was so easy. Needless to say I was shocked when the pull buoy was removed and I was swimming uphill. Anyway, all this to say I've really never developed a kick. My feet just kind of drag behind me even with Fins. I'm all upperbody. I've never really had a feel of the water on the pull and I have very little range of motion in my neck on one side from a car accident.
I've found this is the best website in explaining swimming and Mr. Smoothe is my new boyfriend! LOL I'm trying to focus on 1 technique at a time. The first was core and now I'm working on the roll. I still feel that my timing is off somewhere but hopefully it'll click soon.
