First of all I wanted to thank you for having so much great information on your website. It has been great for understanding specific techniques of the freestyle stroke. I am an "advanced" swimmer according to your website and a physiotherapist working with triathletes on return to sport and injury prevention.
Do you have any information about Ranges of motion throughout the stroke. Maybe something you might have used to create Mr. Smooth.
Specifically I wanted to know, what degree of elbow flexion are you looking for during the freestyle pull? How much shoulder rotation is incurred with thumb first entry vs flat or little finger entry?
How much body rotation do we need for an efficient stroke?
Thank you for your help and advice!
